Mold Maker Professional for a Day

Our Mold Maker Professional for a Day is an ongoing program that allows students to visit us for the day to see what skilled trades looks like in a modern manufacturing facility. While much of their day is spent on the shop floor, they also spend time in Project Management, Engineering, IT, Accounting, etc. allowing them to see all aspect of the business.

Over the last four years, we have hosted over 200 students through our Mold Maker Professional for a Day program (MMPFAD). Since the beginning of the MMPFAD program, we have hired 5 of these students who displayed a passion for machining. Three of them are now apprentices and two more will be enrolled in the apprenticeship program upon graduation from Vanguard-Sentinel Career and Technology Centers. There are no words to describe how exciting it is to see the fruits of our labor and the fact that this program is making a difference in our community.
